Pump Repair

LWI's Pump Repair Training Program consists of a four and a half day training session in Cleveland, Texas (about one hour north of Houston). This seminar is an introductory hands-on training program that prepares volunteers and development professionals to repair broken water well handpumps in developing countries. Trainees will be divided into teams of 4-5, and learn to evaluate and repair up to 13 different styles of hand pumps found in many parts of the world, through simulations of actual field situations. At the end of each day, a relaxed evening review session will be held.

Cost: The participant cost for pump repair training is $400.
